For instance I'm on the fourth mission and I found four different kinds of sniper rifles so far. The single player is solid.

In my humble opinion, DICE has never ever delivered a decent single player campaign for any Battlefield game. Battlefield 3 had a few heavily scripted moments that were theatrically cool. Battlefield 4 had one or two as well, Battlefield 1 and 5 were totally forgettable. BF2: Modern Combat's was a pointless grind.
I recently noticed that battlefield 4, battlefield 1 revolution, and battlefield 5 are on sale in a bundle for $15 on steam (or $7 each individually). I have never played the battlefield games, but I would most likely only be interested in the single player campaigns.
